A short form or one phone call. We need your contact information, case type, and your attorney's office. Nothing more.
QFN Group advances cash against a pending settlement. The advance is underwritten on the strength of your claim, coordinated through your attorney, and repaid only if you recover.
We built the workflow so the burden sits with our underwriters and your attorney's office, not with you.
A short form or one phone call. We need your contact information, case type, and your attorney's office. Nothing more.
Our underwriter requests a case summary and status directly from your attorney. You aren't asked to chase documents.
We evaluate the merits and posture of the claim. Credit, income, and employment history are never considered.
Review the agreement, sign, and receive funds by direct deposit or check, often the next business day.
Advances are sized as a modest percentage of expected case value, adjusted for litigation posture. Move the inputs to model your situation.
Illustrative only. This calculator does not evaluate your claim, does not constitute an offer, quote, or approval, and does not reflect fees or the final funded amount. All funding is subject to underwriting, attorney verification, state availability, and executed agreement.
If you have retained counsel after suffering damages caused by another party, your claim is likely eligible for review.
Matter type not listed? Call (212) 542-0852. Every claim is reviewed on its own merits.
QFN Group LLC is a New York-based litigation funding company. Our underwriting is built around one question that traditional finance never asks: how strong is the claim? Not your credit file, not your employment history, not your debt-to-income ratio. Only the strength of the claim.
That distinction is the entire product. Because we take our position in the proceeds rather than against you personally, an unsuccessful case ends our claim entirely. The risk moves to our balance sheet, which is precisely why we underwrite carefully and work directly with counsel to do it quickly.
Our fast, cost-effective underwriting model, plus a direct line to your attorney, is what sets us apart. QFN Group Underwriting
| Underwriting basis | Merits, posture, and estimated value of the pending claim. Never credit, income, or employment. |
|---|---|
| Repayment source | Settlement or judgment proceeds only, disbursed through your attorney's trust account at resolution. |
| Downside exposure | None to the plaintiff. If the claim does not recover, the funded amount is not collectible. |
| Attorney workload | A case summary and status update. One underwriter owns the file from intake through payoff. |
| Decision velocity | Most files are decided within one business day of receiving documentation from counsel. |
| Cost transparency | Funded amount and fee schedule stated in plain language on the face of the agreement, before signature. |
When a client needs capital to get through litigation, QFN Group coordinates with your office directly. There is no cost to your firm to refer a client or to request funding on their behalf, and no obligation created for the firm by a submission.
One underwriter owns the file from intake through payoff. No call-center handoffs, no repeated document requests.
A case summary and current status are typically sufficient for a funding decision. We do not request privileged work product.
Executed lien and payoff instructions are delivered to your office in writing, with payoff figures available on request at any point.
Most funding decisions are issued within twenty-four hours of receiving case documentation from counsel.
We decline files we don't believe are appropriately sized. A client under-served by funding is not a client we want.
Secure intake for counsel. Response within one business day.
An underwriter will contact your office within one business day. Urgent matters can be escalated by phone.

The full legal disclosure runs at the bottom of this page. This is the same substance, stated plainly.
Our right to repayment runs against your settlement proceeds, never against you personally.
Every file is underwritten on its own facts. A submission is a request for review, not an offer.
The funding estimator models a range from the inputs you choose. It isn't a quote and excludes fees.
The funded amount and fee schedule are stated in plain language on the face of the agreement.
In most states this isn't a loan. In some it's regulated as one, and your agreement reflects what applies.
Pre-settlement funding provides a plaintiff in an active claim with a cash advance against the expected proceeds of that claim. It is not a traditional loan: repayment comes exclusively from a settlement or judgment, and only if the case recovers.
It means our right to repayment runs against the proceeds of your claim, not against you. If the claim resolves with no recovery, we have no legal ability to collect from your wages, assets, or accounts. The loss is ours.
No. Approval turns on the merits and estimated value of the claim. We do not pull a consumer credit score as an approval criterion, and your income and employment history are not factors.
Most approved applicants receive between $500 and $10,000. The amount is sized to the estimated value and current posture of the claim, because responsible funding leaves meaningful proceeds for you at resolution.
At the conclusion of your case, your attorney disburses the agreed payoff from the settlement proceeds held in trust. You never write a check and never make a monthly payment.
You owe nothing. That outcome is contemplated in the agreement and is the reason the product is priced the way it is, because we are absorbing the risk of a non-recovery.
Pricing varies with case type, posture, and expected duration, and is disclosed in writing on the face of your agreement before you sign. Because funding is non-recourse and long-dated, the cost is meaningfully higher than secured consumer credit, which is why we encourage applicants to consider other sources first where those are genuinely available.
Representation is generally required, because our underwriting depends on counsel's assessment and cooperation. If you have not retained a lawyer, contact us and we can discuss appropriate next steps.
Our funding arrangement is between you, your attorney, and QFN Group. We do not notify the defendant or the insurance carrier as a matter of course, though disclosure obligations can vary by jurisdiction and case posture, and your attorney can advise on that.
An underwriter reviews the submission and contacts your attorney's office for a case summary and status. Most applicants receive a decision within twenty-four hours of that documentation arriving.
Yes. Subsequent advances are common as a case progresses and are underwritten fresh against the claim's current status, value, and the amount already outstanding.
A decline is not a judgment on the merit of your case. It usually reflects posture, timing, or sizing relative to our current criteria. There is never a cost to apply, and you are welcome to reapply as the case develops.
No questions match that search. Call (212) 542-0852 and we'll answer directly.
Applying is free, carries no obligation, and has no effect on your credit. If funding isn't the right answer for your situation, we'll tell you that directly.
No cost, no obligation, no credit impact.
